This is a tried and true recipe from Gregory's uncle Stephen, who went to culinary school out east.
These are the perfect cookies!
Cream together:
1 stick of butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Add 1 egg and beat well.
Combine, then add to above:
1 & 3/4 c flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Add 1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
Form into balls, place on cookie sheet, and bake at 375 F. for 9 minutes.
